From the owners of the (quite big now) Bump...
...hello all!
Loved the updates...thought we'd add a quick message too.
Well, maternity leave kicked in today. I felt most of the day feeling a bit lost...I'm sure that won't last, and the nesting instinct will kick in. But now I have time on my side, I will update some pictures in the next week or so. The bump is getting pretty big, and extremely active, and can't believe its still got 6 weeks of growing left to do. Surely theres no room left!!!??! It feels much like a very large bony frog doing breaststroke sometimes, and yes, quite uncomfortable!! But we're both really excited about the next few months, and can't wait to finally play mums and dads!
Looking forward to the mocking of Tris on Thursday, and celebrating Em's big 3-0 on Sunday. Once we have a good picture of fireman sam, I'll dig out a classic of pc plod too...
Love to all, and watch this space for more photo's soon!
(Yes, more of Grace please, and perhaps some of Joe's lego creations??)
Love Hads and Lou xxx

New stuff - exciting!
Why's it all gone so quiet? I thought I'd end this barren period with some inane ramblings. So here goes...
Today is Joe's birthday - HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOE!! We had birthday cake and fizzy wine for breakfast (more elevensies really) and asparagus on toast for lunch. Very tasty, but I have shocking wind as a consequence. Obviously I blame said wind on Grace where possible - little tip for Hads and Lou although I'm sure you have already considered this.
Apart from nice food, we have been building Lego for most of the afternoon. Earlier we had a pass the parcel, Iain seemed a bit miffed that it didn't stop on him once. To be fair, I was in charge of music so if anyone's to blame it's me. He did miss out on some super prizes though - little plastic parachute men, old school sweets and chocolates etc.
It's cold in Kent, no seriously it's REALLY cold. Went for a walk earlier and it was big coat, wooly hat and gloves kind of cold. How is it in Devon? I predict lots of snow this winter, probably Feb time. I do say this every year without fail but this time it's definite. Why don't you all come and get stranded here? We can go sledging on the downs, it'll be fun!
I need to go now because a) I need to cook curry, b) Joe needs help with Lego and c) My tummy hurts.
Bye
Jon
